About: Gil Soltz grew up in San Bernardino, California, went to college at Brandeis University, and later earned his MPA from NYU’s Wagner School of Public Service and his MFA from Warren Wilson. He has interned for the late Senator Edward M. Kennedy, taught EBD special education in New Orleans, managed the Swiss Banks settlement group at the Claims Conference, and currently facilitates structured walking experiences and streetruns in Paris, France.
He took his idealism to San Francisco in 2003 and has since been creating prose experiments in search of ways to generate new form and story content that energizes the reader. Throughout his writing career, Gil has neither sought after nor received awards, nor has he produced much that lives in the marketplace.
